President & Senior Estimator
Chris started painting with his brothers Mike and Stan during summer breaks when he was 13 years old. At that time, he earned $20 for often what turned out to be a 12 hour work day. Over the next several years, Chris continued working with his brothers until they left for college. Chris then ran Urban Bros. for several years while attending College of Marin. He eventually took leave from the company and paid his way through San Jose State University, where he received a B.S. in Marketing and graduated with honors. Today, Chris serves as president of Urban Bros. Painting, and is also the senior estimator.
Chris lives with his wife and two children in Kentfield. He values spending time with his family, and enjoys cycling and almost any outdoor activity.

Jim
began painting with Urban Bros. in the mid 70’s, and
has worked with the company continuously since then. He
worked to pay his way through College of Marin, and worked
through Golden Gate University, where Jim graduated with
honors. Jim’s dedication and tough standards have
earned him the respect of the crews in the field. In many
ways, Jim drives the company at the point where the rubber
meets the road: in the field, on site, producing top-quality
paint jobs. Jim has been married 25 years, and is the proud
father of a eleven year old son and 8 year old daughter.
He enjoys gardening and camping with his family.

Jeff began his painting career with Urban Bros. in the early 80’s, during high school. Working in the field, on and off for ten years, Jeff developed an acute understanding of the painting trade, and the important management skills associated with overseeing projects. Jeff earned a B.S. in Business at San Diego State University, with an emphasis in Information Systems. After five years of developing small business applications for EDS, a major data processing company, Jeff returned to Urban Bros. Painting in order to better utilize his natural aptitude for customer relations. In addition to his primary duty as a lead estimator, Jeff uses his skills as a systems engineer to automate and organize the company’s offices. Jeff and his wife, Rebecca, have two sons and a daughter. Jeff enjoys tennis, cycling, snowboarding, basketball and other outdoor activities.

Sean
began his career with Urban Bros. over seventeen years ago. As
a seasoned journeyman painter, his talent and leadership
abilities soon earned Sean a position managing small projects.
Sean’s knowledge of the industry and his ability to
work with customers, soon elevated him to a top foreman’s
position, and then onto his latest pursuit as a salesman
and estimator. Sean’s nearly 20 years of experience
in the trade make him an important part of the Urban Bros.
Painting team. In his free time, Sean enjoys a variety of
activities including motorcycling, snow boarding, and hiking.

Production Supervisor |

Hector began working with Urban Bros. Painting in 1996 as a spray man and within three years made Foreman. As a Foreman, Hector became well known for his dedication to quality, problem solving abilities and incredible work ethic. These qualities led to Hector's current position as a Production Supervisor where his excellent organizational and customer service skills really keep projects on track for safe and successful completion. In his spare time, Hector can be found spending time with his family and he greatly enjoys fishing.

Martin began working with Urban Bros. Painting in 1995 as an apprentice painter. With hard work and dedication, Martin “literally” worked his way up the ladder to a Foreman position. Martin’s ability to consistently produce high quality, efficiently run projects, successfully communicate with clients, and fairness to his crew and fellow Foremen earned him his current position as a Production Manager and HR Manager for the company. When not at the job he can be found at home playing board games or watching a good comedy with his wife and daughter. Martin is also a diehard outdoorsman and active soccer player.

Ray Rose is a 6th generation Californian who worked his way through college as a painter for the San Jose School District. After graduating Cum Laude with a degree in Finance and Economics from California State University at Chico, he started his career with EDS in Madrid, Spain. Specializing in accounting systems and controls, Ray later returned to school at UC Berkeley and went on to earn his CPA. In 1999 he became the Controller for Pets.com helping engineer $250MM in public and private financings and automating over 20,000 feet of supply chain and warehousing management systems. He was then the first Controller for Snapfish.com where he established accounting systems and was the first Worldwide Controller for GNX.com-a $150MM worldwide software and professional services firm. He then worked as a consultant on an SEC filing for a multi billion dollar bond refinancing for Levi Strauss & Co. and consulted on a $197MM software acquisition for Autodesk, Inc. Prior to joining Urban he was the Controller and CFO for CT Space-a multinational software and professional services concern where he helped orchestrate an international merger across 10 countries and a multi million dollar exit to Sword Soft of France, LTD..
